AvoCoco Protein Deep Condish...
1 Ripe Avocado
1 Egg
1 Small can Coconut Milk
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
4 Tbsp Sweet Almond Oil
A good dollop of Condish (optional)
Blend thoroughly until smooth and creamy
Apply to clean hair
Let the magic happen for 30 mins with heat
Rinse/detangle/style as usual.
You'll be left with soft, moisturized, awesome smelling hair!

Fall/ Winter 2011 Routine
Hey Dolls!
Here's a break down of my current routine. Of course this only applies to my everyday stretched wash-n-go, as things change a bit with straightened or styled hair. For the most part its pretty repetitive, but make note that things change on Thursdays!!! Also, there's a list of my products at the end...and you'll notice I keep it pretty simple!!! Less is always more!!!
Sunday
***Day***
Let down hair and put it in a low loose pony (before I shower just to give it time to fall again)
Polish with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Shake n Go!
***Night***
Apply Ida's Child Shea Whip to the ends
Four (4) twists pinned up or Pineappled and covered with a silk scarf
Sleep on a satin pillow case
Monday
***Day***
Spray hair with water until damp to refresh curls and apply a little more of Ms. Jessie's Quick Curls if needed
Let hair dry (I use a diffuser or sometimes air dry)
Polish with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Shake n Go!
***Night***
Apply Ida's Child Shea Whip to the ends
Four (4) twists pinned up or Pineappled and covered with a silk scarf
Sleep on a satin pillow case
Tuesday
***Day***

Rinse with apple cider vinegar rinse (I'm fighting an itchy scalp)
Co-wash and detagle w/ Pantene ProV Relaxed & Natural
Style with Ms. Jessie's Quick Curls
Either I air dry or dry with a diffuser
Polish with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Shake and go!

Friday

Henna me lovely...
I'm sooooooo due for a Henna night! Definitely need to fill that in on the calendar before I head home in 2 weeks (soooooo excited!!!). In the mean time, in between time... here's how it goes down!!!
Recipe:
200g (2 boxes) Jamila Henna
3cp Green Tea
1/4cp Honey
Conditioner (I use Suave Naturals Coconut)
*WARNING*...Wear gloves, Henna Stains!
- Mix to toothpaste consistency
- Apply to clean damp hair
- Leave for up to 8 hours, but no less than 3 hours or over night
- Co-rinse thoroughly and follow up with an intense deep-treatment
- Apply leave-in and style as usual

The day I BCed was a major turning point in my life. Ready for change from the inside out, I sat in the salon chair, turned away from the mirror and instructed the cutting to be begin. Mid back length hair fell to the floor and thus began my journey....
